About The Position

Join Jeff Wyler Toyota Clarksville Body Shop as a Body Shop Assistant/Porter, supporting body shop operations by transporting, organizing, and maintaining vehicles in a timely and professional manner. The position is based in Clarksville, Indiana, in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. This is a full-time hourly position paid biweekly. Applicants must pass pre-employment testing, including a background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening. The company is an equal opportunity employer.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to drive and maneuver vehicles of various sizes safely.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to pass pre-employment testing, including a background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Clean and detail customer vehicles before and after repairs.
Clean and maintain the work area and tools.
Receive and track parts entering the shop and dispatch them as needed.
Remove trash and recycling materials from the shop daily.
Help with general maintenance and upkeep of the body shop.
Transport vehicles safely and efficiently between the body shop, customer parking, and other designated locations.
Help keep the body shop and surrounding areas clean and organized.
Move parts, equipment, and supplies within the shop as needed.
Ensure vehicles are properly staged and ready for service or customer pickup.
Promptly report vehicle or equipment issues to the supervisor.
Follow safety and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
