About The Position

Charlotte Radiology, a large subspecialized radiology practice, is seeking ABR certified or eligible radiologists to join our overnight team of 16 radiologists. The team provides coverage to more than a dozen hospitals in the growing Atrium Healthcare system in the Charlotte metro area, including a level 1 trauma center and major tertiary referral center. Fellowship training in body/abdominal/thoracic imaging, emergency radiology, and neuroradiology is preferred. The position offers a 7-day on followed by 14-day off schedule with core shift times of 5 pm-3 am and 9 pm-7 am EST. Approximately 122 shifts or 1220 hours per year are expected, with availability of additional internal moonlighting shifts. Limited procedural coverage of para/thoracentesis, lumbar puncture, and fluoroscopic studies is required for onsite positions. The practice is subspecialized overnight, divided into neuroradiology and body/general workflows. Pediatric subspecialist reads are provided by a teleradiology service. Partner compensation is expected to be in the >90th percentile for private practice radiology, with a 2- or 3-year partnership track depending on experience level. Options for remote and hybrid on-site partner positions are available, and home workstations are provided.
