About The Position

Charlotte Radiology, a large subspecialty-based radiology practice, is seeking an ABR certified or eligible fellowship-trained nuclear medicine radiologist. The successful candidate will be an integral member of our 5-physician nuclear medicine section and will be based at our flagship hospital in Charlotte, NC. This is a hybrid position consisting of onsite and remote shifts. The role involves a wide range of general nuclear medicine and PET-CT, including neuro and pediatrics, with a large volume of PET-CT from multiple scanners. The position offers rapid growth in oncology volumes due to a partnership with Levine Cancer Institute and virtual multi-disciplinary tumor board involvement. The nuclear section currently supports numerous nuclear medicine departments throughout Atrium Health. Members of the Nuclear Section rotate into General/Body Shifts, with no Mammo, MSK, or Neuro required. This position offers a partnership track with a salary exceeding the 90th percentile for private practice radiology, flexible scheduling, over 10 weeks of vacation as a partner, generous family leave, a sign-on bonus, and a student loan repayment program.

Requirements

  • ABR certified or eligible
  • Fellowship trained in Nuclear Medicine
  • Expertise in interpretation of PET/CT, SPECT/CT, and diagnostic nuclear medicine
  • General radiology interpretation skills
  • Highly motivated team player

Responsibilities
