Charlotte Radiology is seeking a fellowship-trained musculoskeletal (MSK) radiologist to join our core MSK section, which consists of twelve fellowship-trained radiologists. Our team covers all modalities of MSK imaging for adult and pediatric patients, including radiographs, CT, MRI, and US. The candidate must be comfortable with image-guided (fluoro, CT, US) MSK procedures including therapeutic injections and arthrography, as well as biopsies of bone (including spine) and soft tissue. Strong interest or experience in other procedures would be welcome. Some members of the section currently perform percutaneous thermal ablations of lesions, abdominal wall botulinum injections, and percutaneous bone graft. The section is always willing to find solutions for our referring clinicians. Our practice covers a full gamut of MSK pathology. We read the cross-sectional imaging for the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC soccer team, among other local athletes and weekend warriors. We also have a large bone and soft tissue sarcoma practice, with three full-time orthopedic oncologic surgeons at our flagship hospital, and a weekly interdisciplinary sarcoma conference. There is an orthopedic surgery residency program at Atrium and teaching opportunities are available for residents and medical students. The job is a perfect blend of tertiary care, academic medicine, with the benefits of a successful private practice.
