About The Position

VCA Animal Hospitals is hiring an Overnight Boarding Attendant to care for boarding pets while their families are away. The role involves monitoring pets overnight and helping them stay safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Attendants provide meals and late-night potty breaks, maintain clean and comfortable kennels and common areas, handle laundry, and assist with morning preparation for incoming pets and the hospital team. The position offers flexible full-time or part-time scheduling, with 10-hour overnight shifts.

Requirements

• Reliable, detail-oriented, and compassionate.
• Comfortable working independently during overnight hours.
• Available for 10-hour overnight shifts; flexible scheduling is available.

• Experience working with animals is a plus, but not required; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the well-being of overnight boarding pets.
• Provide late-night potty breaks, meals, and clean bedding.
• Keep kennels and common areas clean, sanitized, and comfortable.
• Manage laundry to keep fresh bedding and towels available.
• Help ensure pets are happy, healthy, and comfortable.
• Support morning preparation for incoming pets and the hospital team.
