About The Position

Prime Inc. is seeking team members for its detail shop. The role involves cleaning and preparing trucks, trailers, and other vehicles to meet company service standards, assisting customers as needed, and maintaining a safe, orderly work area. Work takes place indoors and outdoors, with exposure to varying weather conditions and chemical odors. A flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, is required.

Requirements

Strong work history.
Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights and weekends.
High school diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Ability to pass a job-specific post-offer physical before beginning employment.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and pull up to 15 pounds.
Confidence working off ladders.

Vehicle cleaning, detailing, or housekeeping experience.

Responsibilities

Clean and fumigate vehicle interiors using commercial cleaning products in compliance with company standards.
Replace mattresses inside trucks.
Operate buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other equipment to meet service expectations.
Use cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance vehicle appearance.
Provide customer assistance as needed.
Strip decals from trucks and trailers to prepare them for sale.
Discard garbage left inside trucks and trailers.
Maintain inventory.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
Use the laundry facility as required.
Remove load locks, chains, and tanker equipment.
Box, inventory, store, and mail personal items left in trucks.
Jump-start vehicles.
Move trucks and trailers around the yard as needed.
Drive a forklift.
Follow OSHA regulations and safety requirements.
Perform related work assigned by the supervisor.
