About The Position

The Overnight Garage Attendant makes a positive impression on guests through friendly engagement and safely parks and retrieves vehicles in a parking garage or similar facility. The schedule is Friday through Sunday, 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Responsibilities also include keeping the garage organized, tracking vehicles and keys, assisting with shift transitions, and performing assigned cleaning duties.

Requirements

Be friendly and outgoing, and able to smile during customer interactions.
Have an upbeat personality, willingness to go the extra mile, and a strong work ethic.
Maintain uniform standards while on the job premises.
Be able to read, write, and verbally communicate in English.
Be able to run and move quickly.
Be able to organize cars efficiently.
Be able to stand for long periods.
Be able to safely operate vehicles and pass a driving test on a manual transmission vehicle.
Be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Be able to pass a criminal background check.
Be able to create relationships with customers and stay organized.
Have a clean driving record deemed insurable by VPNE's current insurance provider.

Keep track of keys and cars throughout the garage.
Provide an exceptional guest experience.
Maintain organization at the operation.

Help facilitate the transition at the end of the shift.
Maintain a sharp, neatly groomed appearance.
Perform cleaning duties as assigned.
Adhere to VPNE's attendance policy.
