About The Position

The Overnight Garage Attendant makes a positive impression on guests by engaging with them in a friendly manner and safely parking and retrieving vehicles in a parking garage or similar facility. The schedule is Friday through Sunday, 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Requirements

Be friendly and outgoing, and able to smile during customer interactions.
Have an upbeat personality, willingness to go the extra mile, and a strong work ethic.
Maintain uniform standards while on the job premises.
Be able to read, write, and verbally communicate in English.
Be able to run and move quickly.
Be able to organize cars efficiently.
Be able to stand for long periods.
Be able to safely operate vehicles and pass a driving test on a manual transmission vehicle.
Be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Be able to pass a criminal background check and RMV check.
Be able to build relationships with customers.
Be organized.
Have a clean driving record deemed insurable by VPNE's current insurance provider.

Responsibilities

Keep the safety of self and others in mind at all times.
Operate vehicles safely and continuously to minimize the potential for accidents.
Keep track of keys and cars throughout the garage.
Provide an exceptional guest experience.
Maintain organization at the operation.
Create a positive environment for customers and teammates through enthusiasm about the job.
Use professional communication and VPNE-approved language choices.
Help facilitate the transition at the end of the shift.
Maintain a sharp and neat appearance.
Perform cleaning duties as assigned.
Adhere to VPNE's attendance policy.
