Board Certified Disability Peer Physician Reviewer - Rheumatology
About The Position
Dane Street is seeking Board Certified Physicians to join our Disability Peer Review team. This is a telework opportunity where physicians will evaluate and review disability claims from home. Our independent physician panel consists of contract reviewers (1099) who benefit from flexible scheduling, allowing them to balance work with their lifestyle. In this role, no doctor/patient relationship is established, and no treatment is provided; opinions are advisory only. The typical turnaround time (TAT) for reviews is 3-5 business days, depending on the complexity. Dane Street manages all administrative tasks, including communication, record organization, case preparation, and ensuring the quality and timely delivery of determinations/reports. Initial and ongoing training, as well as a dedicated point of contact, are provided.
Requirements
- Board Certification in Rheumatology
- Current, unrestricted medical license
