Board Certified Disability Peer Physician Reviewer - Cardiology
About The Position
Dane Street is seeking Board Certified Physicians to join their Disability Peer Review team. This is a telework opportunity where physicians will evaluate and review disability claims from home. The role is for an independent physician panel of contract reviewers (1099) who benefit from flexible scheduling, allowing them to balance work with their lifestyle. No doctor/patient relationship is established, and no treatment is provided; these are advisory-only opinions. The typical turnaround time (TAT) is 3-5 business days, depending on the review level. Dane Street manages administrative tasks, case flow, communication, medical record organization, and ensures quality and timely delivery of determinations/reports. Initial and ongoing training is provided, along with a point of contact for questions.
Requirements
- Board Certification in Cardiology
- Current, unrestricted medical license
- Experience in conducting Disability Peer Reviews preferred
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and review disability claims.
