About The Position

Butterfly Effects is hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a hybrid, in-home-based role in Portsmouth, Virginia. The BCBA joins an interdisciplinary team providing individualized ABA therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder and their families. The role includes clinical autonomy to develop customized treatment plans, locally or regionally based clinical guidance, and collaboration with other professionals. Requirements

Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.
Active BCBA certification from the BACB.
Passion for working with children and families affected by autism spectrum disorder.
Strong communication and collaboration skills for interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Oversee and supervise RBTs and BTs to support consistent, high-quality ABA service delivery.
Conduct functional behavior assessments.
Develop individualized treatment goals and evidence-based intervention plans.
Lead monthly caregiver training sessions to build family capacity.
Collaborate with therapists, educators, and other professionals to support holistic client outcomes.
Assist with related special projects and perform other related duties as assigned by management.
