Action Behavior Centers (ABC) provides evidence-based applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy to autistic children. At ABC Academy, the BCBA supports children ages 5 to 12 as they build school-readiness and social skills and transition from early intensive behavioral intervention into school. The role develops individualized goals with families following a thorough assessment and supports children in generalizing skills to the classroom in partnership with educators, including through Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). The BCBA delivers high-quality ABA treatment in a positive, child-centered environment, using play-based strategies where appropriate. They supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), collaborate with families to track progress, and work with educators to prepare children for school success. The average caseload is five to six children, with a maximum of eight. This is a full-time, permanent position. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with rotating Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to noon based on family attendance. Total compensation is $84,500 to $119,000 per year, with additional earning potential based on center size, RBT mentorship, and supervision of assigned trainees. Remote work is available up to three days per month based on performance and center needs, plus up to 16 additional assessment-related days per year.
