About The Position

The Student Services Department is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide direct support to students and classroom staff during our Extended School Year (ESY) program. The BCBA will assist with behavioral programming, problem-solving, and coaching staff to support student success. The ESY program runs from July 6 through August 13, with programming Monday-Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., including a one-week break from July 27-30. Staff preferences regarding grade/age will be honored to the extent possible.

Requirements

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • Attend a one (1) hour planning session prior to the end of the school year.
  • Develop and complete schedules by June 5, 2026.
  • Communicate schedules to families.
  • Commit to working the full 5 weeks (preferred but not required).
  • Be aware of the role that bias and prejudice play in society.
  • Be creative and willing to try new approaches.
  • Be reflective about their daily practice.

Nice To Haves

  • Staff preferences regarding grade/age will be honored to the extent possible.
  • It is preferred but not required that all teachers and TAs commit to working the full 5 weeks and use the scheduled vacation week for time off.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to students and classroom staff during the Extended School Year (ESY) program.
  • Assist with behavioral programming.
  • Assist with problem-solving related to student behavior.
  • Coach staff to support student success.
  • Collect regular data towards existing IEP goals and report on it in the “Summer Summaries” at the conclusion of the ESY program.
  • Take and maintain daily attendance.
  • Complete ALL student summer performance reports by the end of day on the last day of the program, and provide copies to be filed and mailed as well as uploading the report into EasyIEP.
  • Combine student performance reports into one document for parent(s) and district file and upload into students electronic file.

  • Pay Rate: $204.15 per day for teachers and related service providers.
