About The Position

The 2027 BNY Analyst Program - Office of the CFO - Finance & Strategy is a 24-month rotational program designed to provide early-career professionals with comprehensive experience in the strategic financial operations of a leading global financial institution. Analysts will work within high-performing finance teams responsible for financial integrity, sustainable growth, and operational excellence. The program involves supporting initiatives related to strategic planning, revenue generation, cost management, financial planning, financial and regulatory reporting, balance sheet analysis, market and competitor analysis, and capital management. Participants will gain a deep understanding of how a large financial institution operates at scale, develop key financial analysis and business insight skills, and contribute to impactful projects.

Requirements

  • Enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program with a strong focus on business-related and/or technology-related majors preferred.
  • Graduating in Dec 2026 or May 2027 (U.S.).
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
  • Does not require sponsorship for employment visa status (now or in the future) in the country where applying.

Responsibilities

  • Support teams that help maintain BNY’s financial integrity, support sustainable growth, and drive operational excellence across the firm.
  • Assist with work related to financial planning and analysis, reporting, market and competitor analysis, balance sheet analysis, capital management, and strategic planning.
  • Conduct data analysis and help interpret financial information to provide insights into business performance, risks, and opportunities for efficiency.
  • Collaborate across lines of business and corporate functions on projects that support decision-making, process improvement, and the use of emerging financial technologies.
