About The Position

Lincoln Tech in Grand Prairie, Texas, is seeking an experienced BMW automotive technician to teach and provide hands-on training in BMW Automotive Technology as part of BMW’s Automotive Apprentice program. Instruction takes place in a fully equipped facility and follows Lincoln Tech’s accredited course curriculum. No teaching experience is required; Lincoln Tech has helped experienced automotive technicians with limited or no teaching experience become successful educators.

The instructor supports and motivates students’ growth, professionalism, and accountability; evaluates and communicates student progress; teaches safety and compliance; and prepares students for careers in BMW Automotive Technology. Some travel is required. The role offers full-time and part-time benefits as described in the posting.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of automotive technician experience.
• Former or current ASE certifications.
• Strong communication skills.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Some travel is required.

Nice To Haves

• ASE certifications G6 and A1–A8 are a plus.
• Teaching experience is a plus.
