BMW Motorcycle Technician
About The Position
Martin Harley-Davidson is seeking BMW Motorcycle Technicians to join its Harley-Davidson/BMW Motorcycles of Louisville location. The position offers a clean, safe, and professional work environment in an air-conditioned shop equipped with newer technology and equipment. Uniforms are provided, and employees receive discounts on products and services. The shop reports average technician proficiency nearing 100%. Career advancement opportunities are available, and the employer pays for Harley Davidson University and/or BMW training expenses to further employees’ careers. Compensation is $20.00–$29.00 flat rate, with a productivity bump depending on experience and/or certifications.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of related experience and/or training.
- Knowledge of all aspects of motorcycle repair.
- Valid driver’s license with an M endorsement.
Responsibilities
- Perform work outlined on repair orders efficiently and accurately, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Diagnose the cause of malfunctions and perform repairs.
- Communicate with the Parts department to obtain necessary parts.
- Communicate updates on timelines and completion dates to the service manager and service advisor.
