About The Position
Blue Coat Ambassadors are Hospital Service Representatives at Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center and play a key role in the patient and family experience. Wearing signature blue blazers, they provide welcoming, attentive assistance and service to patients, families, guests, students, and colleagues from the time they enter the facility until they depart. They maintain a presence at main entrances so guests can access a service resource, and work proactively with colleagues across the medical center—including volunteers, security professionals, environmental services, and physician’s offices—to support patients and families. The role supports Wellstar MCG Health’s clinical mission by positively impacting each patient, family, and guest experience through proactive engagement, listening, guidance, assistance, and service.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent from a recognized state or federal accrediting organization.
- Experience in concierge services.
- Ability to type and use email.
- Basic knowledge of computer programs used to create word documents, spreadsheets, and other requested documents.
- Ability to learn new basic programs applicable to the job function.
Responsibilities
- Engage with, listen to, guide, assist, and serve patients, families, guests, students, and colleagues.
- Maintain a constant presence at main entrances to provide guests with an available service resource.
- Build partnerships with colleagues across medical center departments for the benefit of patients and families.
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout guests’ visits.
