About The Position

The Blow Mold Operator performs team assignments and maintains housekeeping while operating and monitoring Blowmold and Auto Pack machines and related equipment. The role includes starting up, shutting down, monitoring, and adjusting equipment; recording machine functions such as temperatures, pressures, and speeds; and maintaining product quality by checking weights, necks, weak spots, and leaks. The operator also unloads railcars and loads or unloads bottle trailers, and performs other duties as assigned. The position requires safe, productive work in a fast-paced environment, the ability to learn and perform all positions, and effective teamwork and communication. Operators must be able to work any shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as well as extended hours.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Demonstrate excellent work habits in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Demonstrate safe working habits and excellent safety work habits.
Obtain a license and operate a forklift.
Be able to frequently lift more than 20 pounds.
Be able to learn and perform all positions.

Responsibilities

Perform all team assignments.
Maintain housekeeping.
Start, shut down, monitor, and adjust Blowmold machines and related equipment.
Run Blowmold and Auto Pack machines and associated equipment.
Monitor and record machine functions, including temperatures, pressures, and speeds.
Maintain quality by checking weights, necks, weak spots, and leaks.
Unload railcars and load or unload bottle trailers.
Assist team members in other areas.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Holiday Bonus: 15 hours of pay in the first year of continuous employment, one week's pay in the second year, and two weeks' pay in subsequent years, subject to remaining employed through the bonus check issue date.
