About The Position

The Blender Operator is responsible for unloading, loading, and blending fertilizer. The role works in a warehouse and outdoor environment, including exposure to varied weather and, in warehouse areas, moving equipment and other workplace hazards. Safety is a priority at Helena, and employees are expected to follow company policies and procedures, maintain reliable attendance, and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to meet all company requirements to drive a Helena vehicle.
• Applicants whose work requires operating a moving vehicle or interacting with heavy equipment must meet legal age requirements.
• Successful completion of a drug test and background check.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including prolonged standing and bending, lifting or carrying up to and including 50 pounds or more, and other listed physical activities.

Responsibilities

• Blend and load fertilizer formulations.
• Maintain conveyor systems.
• Unload railcars and trucks of fertilizer.
• Maintain cleanliness in fertilizer storage and loadout areas.
• Maintain run-off.
• May drive a company vehicle, subject to company requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned by the leader.
• Maintain reliable and regular attendance.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
