About The Position

The Raw Blender Operator mixes ingredients, loads raw materials into blending equipment, maintains inventory records, and keeps equipment and work areas clean and sanitary. The role supports production operations in a poultry processing environment by preparing ingredient blends used in product manufacturing. Operators may use forklifts, mechanical lifts, spice bins, scales, and other production equipment. The pay rate is $17.30 per hour, and the position is on the day shift.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to push loaded spice bins requiring up to 65 pounds of force.
• Frequent use of both hands for handling materials and operating equipment.
• Wear required personal protective equipment in the production area.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve, measure, and mix dry and liquid ingredients according to production specifications.
• Transport ingredients using spice bins, forklifts, and other material-handling equipment.
• Load ingredients into blending equipment and hoppers.
• Maintain accurate inventory and ingredient usage records.
• Monitor ingredient levels and communicate supply needs.
• Clean blenders, equipment, and work areas using approved sanitation procedures.
• Follow food safety, quality assurance, and workplace safety standards.
• Wear required personal protective equipment before entering the production area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
