About The Position
Hutco, Inc. is seeking a 1st class Blaster/Painter for a position in Pascagoula, MS. This role involves performing blasting and painting using marine coatings to meet specified contract requirements. The painter must understand blasting and painting specifications, including blast profiles and mileage requirements. Responsibilities include performing blasting and painting applications as directed by supervision. Testing will involve the ability to hook airlines to the manifold and spray in various directions.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience as a blaster/painter
- Must be able to perform all blast requirements and functions utilizing all applications.
- Must be able to identify and correct blast and paint deficiencies as required by the contract specifications.
- Must be able to sand blast and demonstrate how to utilize each part of the blast equipment.
- Must pass drug screen (HFT) and background check.
Responsibilities
- Perform blasting and painting utilizing marine coating to specified contract requirements.
- Understand blasting and painting specifications, including but not limited to blast profiles, milage requirements, etc.
- Perform blasting and painting applications as directed by supervision.
- Hook airlines to the manifold and spray horizontal, vertical and side to side.
