About The Position
FieldBridge is looking for a Blaster/Painter in Conroe, TX to work for a worldwide provider of equipment and components used in oil and gas drilling and production operations, oilfield services, and supply chain. This role supports surface preparation and coating application on industrial equipment. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and has verifiable hands-on experience with sandblasting and 2-part epoxy paint systems.
Requirements
- Previous sandblast experience — must be documented on resume
- Previous experience with 2-part epoxy paint systems — must be documented on resume
- Ability to operate an overhead crane
- Must be able to stand and work on feet for 8+ hours daily
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled plant environment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to start immediately upon compliance clearance
Responsibilities
- Prepare equipment surfaces using sandblasting, hand sanding, pneumatic sanders, and grinding tools
- Apply primer and paint per specifications using 2-part epoxy systems
- Move materials and equipment to staging areas using an overhead crane
- Cross-train into other production areas as needed to meet manufacturing schedules
- Follow all safety, environmental, and housekeeping policies throughout the shift
