About The Position

The Painter/Blaster is an individual selected to perform painting and blasting operations within our company.

Requirements

• High School diploma.
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a relevant field.
• Communications skills in English/Spanish (if applicable).
• Experience in a variety of painting and blasting procedures.
• Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to use PPE.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Familiar with Global Vessel and Tank software programs

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Production Manager on timing of equipment being blasted and painted
• Inspect all equipment before blasting/painting to ensure to proper standard
• Keep paint and paint equipment properly stored and label
• Ensure proper disposal of any blast/paint waste or chemicals
• Check all blasted/painted equipment prior to completion for quality and standards
• Confirm all paint colors before project begins
• Maintain tools and equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
