About The Position

The Biotech Associate works on the biotechnology investment team, analyzing preclinical and clinical data across therapeutic areas, assessing market potential, and developing financial models. The role involves interacting with company management teams, including CEOs, CMOs, and CSOs, as well as domain experts, and attending medical conferences. The associate is expected to provide investment insights and contribute to investment decisions involving public and private biotechnology companies. The role offers daily opportunities to learn from senior investment professionals. Exceptional performers may be promoted to Equity Research Analyst.

Requirements

• Ph.D. or M.D. with scientific research experience.
• Strong academic background and intellectual curiosity.
• Highly motivated, confident self-starter able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Basic understanding of fundamental drug development research and preclinical and clinical data analysis.
• Basic understanding of financial modeling.
