About The Position

Performs simple to moderately complex technical work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of diagnostic and therapeutic medical devices. Provides assistance to technicians and operators of medical devices. Participates in disaster, fire, and other emergencies; observes all hospital safety practices and regulations.

Requirements

• An associate degree in electronics (preferably biomedical) or equivalent military electronics training (preferably biomedical).
• Previous electronic preventive maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
• Computer experience (Windows operating system and applications as necessary).
• Schedule flexibility with the ability to work shift work or weekends as required.
• The ability to obtain a level 2 AHCA clearance.
• Valid Driver's License

Nice To Haves

• One (1) year of experience or successful completion of an internship.
• Demonstrated broad experience with microcomputer systems and software, client server concepts, local and wide area network concepts, and repair of diagnostic and therapeutic medical devices.
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in the use of test equipment and tools pertinent to the field.
• The ability to work with minimal supervision.
