Biology Expert
About The Position
This is a fully remote contract role for PhDs, whether pursuing or completed, in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related fields. The Biology Expert helps fine-tune large language models using biology expertise by designing problems, evaluating AI performance, and working with researchers to build and refine benchmarks across undergraduate- to PhD-level biology topics. No AI experience is required. The role pays $100+ per hour, depending on the role and candidate expertise. Assignments have defined start and end dates and may require up to 40 hours per week. Shortlisted candidates complete an evaluation before selection. After applying, candidates receive an email with a login link to access the portal and complete their profile.
Requirements
- A PhD, either pursuing or completed, in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Strong biology reasoning and problem-solving skills across advanced domains.
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly in writing and provide structured feedback.
Responsibilities
