Biology Instructor
About The Position
Coastal Pines Technical College is hiring a full-time Biology Instructor. The instructor will provide classroom instruction for degree-level courses, prepare lesson plans, maintain department guidelines and standards, evaluate students by assigning grades, and interact with faculty and deans. Instruction will take place at various dual enrollment and college locations, with the primary campus appointment at the Golden Isles Campus. Faculty must be credentialed to satisfy the appropriate accrediting bodies for assigned courses. Salary will be determined in accordance with guidelines established by the Technical College System of Georgia.
Requirements
- A minimum of a master's degree in biology or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
- At least 18 graduate semester hours in biology courses.
- Graduate coursework should include Anatomy and Physiology, General Biology, and Microbiology, among other coursework.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Faculty must be credentialed to satisfy the appropriate accrediting bodies for assigned courses.

- Teaching experience in a secondary and/or postsecondary educational institution.
