About The Position

The Bindery Associate performs manual and machine-operator tasks involving cutter and laminator machines and the setup and operation of bindery equipment. The role is on the second shift, from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., and supports the production of work that meets job-ticket specifications, productivity standards, and quality requirements.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent, four years of relevant industry experience, or 520 hours as an Imagine temporary employee along with manager approval to hire full-time.
Basic computer skills, including email and basic mouse, keyboard, and menu navigation.
Knowledge of general safety procedures.
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and measurement.
Ability to communicate and understand basic written and verbal instructions.
Problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to perform frequent walking and prolonged standing, repetitive manual work requiring dexterity, and frequent reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and stooping.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working in printing, manufacturing, distribution, and/or fulfillment.

Responsibilities

Set up, maintain, and operate cutter and laminator equipment.
Use measuring instruments such as tape measures and calipers to ensure finished work matches job-ticket specifications.
Support Bindery Operators in completing jobs.
Complete production and quality logs to document work.
Maintain equipment by performing preventative maintenance.
Complete work accurately and on time to meet productivity and quality standards.
Work overtime as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
