About The Position

The Bindery Associate performs manual and machine-operator tasks related to cutter and laminator machines and the operation and setup of bindery equipment. The role supports Bindery Operators and helps ensure finished work meets job-ticket specifications, production targets, and quality standards. The shift runs from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with overtime as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent, four years of relevant industry experience, or 520 hours as an Imagine temporary employee along with manager approval to hire full-time.
Basic computer skills, including email and basic mouse, keyboard, and menu navigation.
Knowledge of general safety procedures.
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and measurement.
Ability to communicate and understand basic written and verbal instructions.
Problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working in printing, manufacturing, distribution, and/or fulfillment.

Responsibilities

Set up, maintain, and operate cutter and laminator equipment.
Verify finished work against job-ticket specifications using measuring instruments such as tape measures and calipers.
Support Bindery Operators in completing jobs.
Complete production and quality logs to document work.
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
Complete work accurately and on time to meet productivity and quality standards.
Work overtime as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
