About The Position

BLOX is seeking a detail-oriented and innovative BIM Coordinator to develop data-rich model content, maintain and enhance BIM standards, and support collaboration across design, manufacturing, and construction teams. The role works hands-on with Autodesk Revit, Inventor, Fabrication CADmep, and Forma, using technology to optimize project workflows and improve accuracy, efficiency, and coordination throughout design and construction. The BIM Coordinator develops model content and workflows, supports teams using Forma, and helps resolve design and coordination challenges. The role also evaluates and adopts tools for automation, data integration, and information delivery, and provides just-in-time training for Revit and Forma users.

Requirements

Hands-on experience in BIM coordination within multidisciplinary design and construction environments.
Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, with experience curating information-rich models.
Working knowledge of Autodesk Forma, Inventor, and Fabrication CADmep.
General understanding of building systems and familiarity with construction and/or manufacturing.
Understanding of construction sequencing and its impact on model accuracy and planning.
Experience with Dynamo, Grasshopper, or other scripting and automation tools.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams across design, manufacturing, and construction.
Proactive, curious, and eager to explore and adopt new technology.

Experience in modular, prefabrication, or manufacturing-driven construction.

Responsibilities

Develop information-rich Revit and Inventor model content that supports design, manufacturing, and construction.
Provide continuous clash detection and constructability reviews using Forma Model Coordination.
Uphold, maintain, and contribute to BIM standards across projects.
Support design, manufacturing, and construction teams in the use of Forma.
Apply knowledge of construction sequencing to improve model accuracy and project planning.
Research and implement tools that streamline project data handoffs between teams.
Develop and implement custom tools and workflows using Dynamo, Grasshopper, AI, or other programming solutions to improve data integration and eliminate inefficiencies.
Continuously evaluate and adopt new software tools related to automation and document and information delivery.
Provide just-in-time training for Revit and Forma users.
Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and construction disciplines to resolve design and coordination challenges.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
