About The Position

Maintains and supports operations for assigned clinic and specialty groups. Uses the clinic billing system to capture and follow up on receivables in a timely manner according to payer-specific contracts. Builds and maintains partnerships with appropriate staff and departments to support effective working relationships. Duties may vary based on assignment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Two years of office or collections experience in health care; clinic or hospital billing, claims resolution, and customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Advanced problem-solving, critical-thinking, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of industry standards and payer requirements.
• Knowledge of computer billing systems and other office computer systems.
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work to achieve outcomes.
• Personal responsibility for strong performance and teamwork.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree preferred.
• Clinic or hospital billing, claims resolution, and customer service experience preferred.
