About The Position

We’re looking for a detail-driven, analytical problem solver to join our Finance team as a Billing Analyst. In this role, you’ll do far more than process invoices—you’ll help shape and improve the entire billing operation. From resolving complex billing challenges to uncovering opportunities for revenue recovery and automation, you’ll play a key role in keeping our billing processes accurate, efficient, and client-focused. Requirements

  • 3+ years of electronic billing experience using multiple billing vendor platforms
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage complex billing scenarios with accuracy and professionalism
  • Experience working with billing guidelines, invoice auditing, and revenue recovery initiatives

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Experience with Chubb, ESIS, and Aderant BillBlast
  • Advanced reporting and process improvement experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of electronic billing submissions across a variety of client billing platforms.
  • Establish workflows, interpret billing guidelines, and determine the best path forward for exceptions and unique scenarios.
  • Review and audit invoices before and after submission to ensure billing accuracy, compliance with client requirements, and alignment with contractual terms.
  • Investigate and resolve escalated and non-routine billing issues, including rejected invoices, billing conflicts, and client-specific exceptions.
  • Identify billing inefficiencies, missed charges, and revenue leakage opportunities.
  • Develop and implement corrective actions that directly improve revenue capture and financial outcomes.
  • Create and maintain billing performance reports, define key performance indicators, and provide insights that help leadership make informed operational and financial decisions.
  • Evaluate billing systems and workflows to identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and increased efficiency.
  • Serve as a key contributor in system enhancements and implementations.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for complex billing matters, working collaboratively with clients and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain strong relationships.
  • Help maintain billing controls and financial accuracy by reviewing and approving credits, write-offs, and billing adjustments within established authority levels.
  • Support compliance with billing regulations, contractual obligations, and audit requirements while navigating ambiguous situations with sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Partner with leadership to recommend operational improvements, strengthen billing governance, and support long-term revenue cycle strategies.
