About The Position

Altocare is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Billing Accountant to join its accounting team. The role combines ownership of the billing and accounts receivable cycle with staff accounting responsibilities. The Billing Accountant ensures invoices, cash receipts, and receivables are accurate and timely, and handles related journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting during the monthly close. The role requires meticulous organization, reliable management of recurring deadlines, professional communication with franchisees, clients, and payers, familiarity with the full accounting cycle, and understanding of how billing activity flows to the general ledger, while maintaining compliance with policies and procedures. The position is hybrid after a training period. The accountant works with the Senior Accountant and Controller on reporting, audit support, process improvements, accounting projects, and other finance-team requests.
