About The Position

HOPE Community Services, Inc. is a leading outpatient treatment provider in south Oklahoma City, offering compassionate trauma-informed care to individuals impacted by mental health and substance use disorders. They are seeking a Therapeutic Counselor to work with children, youth, and their families. This role involves providing individual, family, and group counseling, assessments, and crisis intervention services. The ideal candidate is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children and families within a supportive, mission-driven environment. As a Therapeutic Counselor in the Children & Youth Program, you will deliver therapeutic services tailored to the unique needs of children and families, including clinical assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and developing individualized recovery plans. You will collaborate with families to promote healthy development and prevent out-of-home placements. Responsibilities also include maintaining up-to-date documentation, working collaboratively with team members, and ensuring services are culturally competent and developmentally appropriate.

Requirements

  • Current license (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LADC) in Oklahoma, or a master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related field with eligibility for licensure supervision.
  • Experience working with children and youth in a clinical setting.
  • Ability to speak, write, and read Spanish fluently.

  • May require First Aid, CPR, and Therapeutic Options certifications.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and provide on-call support as needed.
