About The Position

The Bilingual Spanish Assistant Manager partners with a store manager to oversee the daily operation of an AT&T retail store. The role helps manage and develop a team, supports merchandising and product launches, and helps meet and exceed sales objectives while ensuring customers have an extraordinary experience with AT&T products and services. The Assistant Manager coaches retail sales consultants toward sales and service goals and receives paid training to support leadership success. The position is based in Melville, New York, and is listed at 40 hours per week.

Requirements

Speak Spanish and English.
Have three or more years of sales and/or customer experience in telecommunications or a related industry.
Have prior management experience.
Demonstrate excellent communication and leadership skills.
Have well-developed planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Be familiar with wireless terminology, industry trends, and AT&T mobility systems.
Have a strategic perspective and the ability to champion change.
Inspire a team through high performance, collaboration, and teamwork.
Use professional expertise to solve problems and analyze issues.

Responsibilities

Partner with the store manager to oversee daily retail store operations.
Manage and develop a team and coach retail sales consultants to meet sales and service goals.
Assist with merchandising and product launches.
Help meet and exceed sales objectives.
Ensure customers receive an extraordinary experience with AT&T products and services.
Collaborate with key stakeholders on initiatives beyond the store.
