About The Position

The Services Coordinator at St. Marys Food Bank triages and schedules all services within the Skills Center. This position will be a central contact connecting external clients and enrolled students with programs and services including SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program). The Services Coordinator reports to the Client Services Manager of the Skills Center. Bi-Lingual English/Spanish is required .

Requirements

Associates degree and/or 2 years of administrative experience
Customer service and interpersonal communication skills; professional when explaining general information, requirements, and processes
Telephone etiquette
General use of office equipment scanning, coping, printing information and documents
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) completing online applications
Excellent organization and time management skills
Detail oriented
Team player
Comfortable working one-on-one or in a group setting with a diverse population a majority of the workday
Ability to be compassionate and non-judgmental
A strong sense of community involvement and the desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others
A valid drivers license

Responsibilities

Schedules student/client appointments for resources and benefits
Creates, builds, and maintains student/client files and documents.
Enters and maintains information in student/client database.
Distributes and tracks bus passes.
Updates client and student information
Perform any other duties as directed by the Client Services Manager
Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards.
Provides all internal/external customers of St. Marys Food Bank with an excellent service experience.
