TFS currently has an exciting permanent opportunity as a Bilingual Senior Credit Analyst, reporting to the Credit Supervisors.

Requirements

  • Three plus years of credit analyst/lender experience in an automotive retail credit environment in addition to some collections experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Business/Commerce preferred.
  • Bilingual English/French (required)
  • Proven ability to perform successfully in a challenging team-oriented, fast-paced and deadline driven environment.
  • Proven analytical problem-solving skills, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Persuasive influencing ability while exuding confidence.
  • Solid customer focus and the desire to deliver industry leading service.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Crucial attention to detail is imperative to ensure accuracy and integrity of all financial and credit data.
  • Proficiency with MS Office products and Fraud Detection Tools and Processes.

Responsibilities

  • Apply critical thinking and discipline to fairly evaluate consumer and commercial retail automotive credit applications while strictly adhering to established service levels.
  • Deliver consistent, high quality credit decisions through a comprehensive review of credit bureau data, payment history, and risk indicators within established credit risk tolerance.
  • Provide thorough analysis and due diligence with recommendations to supervisors on credit applications exceeding credit lending authority limits.
  • Maintain internal control standards, protect company interests and assets by maintaining a strong fraud prevention and detection mindset, proactively identifying data anomalies, and preventing fraudulent applications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships and communication with all brand dealer partners, providing direction and support to dealership personnel on all credit offerings.
  • Apply a proactive, sales consultative approach by negotiating and structuring viable deals, strengthen dealer relationships, and support portfolio growth.
