About The Position

The Senior Pricing Analyst is responsible for analyzing complex financial, statistical, and competitor data to recommend price strategies that drive volume growth and improve profitability. This is a hybrid role requiring the candidate to be in the office Monday through Thursday. The successful candidate will work from an office located in Ontario (Kitchener, Brampton, Ottawa), Alberta (Calgary), or Quebec (Anjou).

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Business Administration, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of relevant work experience.
5 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement).
Financial and statistical analysis and waste industry experience required.
Bilingual French and English considered an asset
Waste industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

Implements and maintains pricing infrastructures.
Evaluates effectiveness of pricing strategies and modifies pricing structures and outputs as needed.
Recommends and implements monthly price increases and coordinates with Sales and Billing for implementation.
Collects and analyzes complex financial, statistical, and strategic information in order to maintain pricing tools and support pricing proposals.
Creates and analyzes advanced reports for customer and route profitability.
Provides reporting and documentation and serves as the point-of-contact for pricing inquiries from internal sales department, but not customers.
Provides support and direction to less experienced pricing analysts.
