About The Position

Reporting to the Program Implementation Lead, the successful candidate will support Service Programs. This role requires courage, collaboration, innovation, resilience, and trust. Kids Help Phone (KHP) is Canada’s Unlock The Hope Youth Charity. We’re the first and Canada's only national 24/7, free, confidential, and multilingual e-mental health service for youth and a global leader in innovation for youth and their well-being.

Requirements

  • Bilingualism; French and English
  • Min 1 year of experience in data management
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
  • Diligent job ethic, information oriented, and self-motivated
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong research, time management, and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Advanced computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office, Excel)
  • Ability to develop professional relationships based on respect, kindness and collaboration
  • Acts in a professional manner that inspires trust
  • High School Diploma or GED required

Nice To Haves

  • Post-secondary studies in Library Science or a related field (completed or in progress); completion preferred.
  • Experience with Kids Help Phone services is an asset.
  • Experience in mental health content and/or health promotion is an asset.
  • Experience in online and social media youth advocacy is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Information and Referral Standards, i.e. Inform Canada (previously AIRS) / 211 Human Services Indexing System (previously 211 LA County Taxonomy Indexing), and the American Psychiatric Association Mobile Apps Evaluation framework are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Research, identify and input resources, programs and tools from across Canada into the Community Resource Database, including supports specific to equity deserving populations.
  • Create and update database records using Kids Help Phone’s detailed evaluation methodology, which includes: Information and Referral Standards, i.e. Inform Canada (previously AIRS) / 211 Human Services Indexing System (previously 211 LA County Taxonomy Indexing); American Psychiatric Association Mobile Apps Evaluation framework, and KHP’s Internal Policies.
  • Provide high-quality, timely, efficient and effective services, including entering and reporting data, and carrying out document and records management.
  • Participate in digital (telephone, email) methods to confirm the accuracy of records within Resources Around Me.
  • Conduct outreach initiatives.
  • Develop knowledge translation products (e.g. one-pagers, informational flyers) to support the use of Resources Around me for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with team members to identify gaps in existing resources and propose solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on projects and initiatives to support organizational priorities.
