About The Position

The Bilingual Paralegal Manager role at Hurst Limontes LLC is crucial to supporting the growing Hispanic client base and enhancing the operational capabilities of the firm’s junior attorneys. As a newly created position, it addresses the increasing demand for dedicated administrative assistance, enabling junior attorneys to focus on legal advocacy while ensuring that Spanish-speaking clients receive timely and personalized service. This role is not only integral to streamlining workflows but also pivotal in reinforcing the firm’s commitment to exceptional client care and professional growth.

Requirements

  • Fluent in Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
  • Prior experience in a law firm setting, ideally within personal injury or case management roles.
  • Ability to multitask and maintain order in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong skills in client communication and relationship-building.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and general computer applications.
  • Quick learner with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, growing team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with NEOS or other legal case management systems is a plus, but we are happy to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Manage personal injury case files and provide day-to-day support to two junior attorneys throughout the lifecycle of their cases.
  • Maintain regular contact with both English and Spanish-speaking clients, ensuring clear and professional interactions.
  • Open new case files and manage documentation to facilitate smooth legal proceedings.
  • Assist with litigation processes, keeping track of case deadlines and ensuring attorney preparedness.
  • Organize case information and strategize to move cases efficiently through the legal process.
  • Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions to enhance legal operations.
  • Conduct thorough client intakes, providing essential updates and maintaining detailed records.
