About The Position

Carolina Pediatric Therapy is seeking a Bilingual Outpatient Child & Family Therapist to join their dynamic, mission-driven pediatric therapy practice. This role focuses on providing integrated services for children from birth through age 21. The practice emphasizes supporting clinicians with protected time for collaboration and professional growth, efficient documentation systems, mentorship, and opportunities for career advancement. Therapists will work as part of a truly interdisciplinary team, collaborating with behavioral health clinicians, psychologists, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists. Flexible clinical opportunities include outpatient clinic-based therapy, school-based consultation, telehealth, and community-based support. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping children and families, values culturally responsive care, and enjoys collaborative work.

Requirements

  • Active North Carolina licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Psychologist.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and/or families.
  • Training in evidence-based interventions.

Nice To Haves

  • Two or more years of clinical experience.
  • Experience in pediatric behavioral health.
  • Experience working within interdisciplinary teams.
  • Strong knowledge of child development and family systems.
  • Experience providing trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services for children, adolescents, and families experiencing a variety of emotional, behavioral, developmental, and relational challenges.
  • Build strong therapeutic partnerships with children, adolescents, and caregivers.
  • Deliver individualized, family-centered treatment.
  • Provide services in English and Spanish to increase access to care.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to support whole-child outcomes.
  • Expand clinical expertise through mentorship and ongoing professional development.
