About The Position

The DuPont Clinic is a referral center for all-trimester abortion and ultrasound-guided procedures, including care for abnormal or high-risk pregnancies and people with complex medical situations who may have difficulty accessing care. The clinic provides high-level medical care and a private experience focused on each patient’s needs, and is committed to an inclusive environment. The Registered Nurse is an integral part of the team responsible for patient experience and safety, delivering high-quality, trauma-informed, patient-centered care and supporting bodily autonomy. The role offers learning opportunities in ultrasound, abortion care, labor management, and gynecologic care, and reports to the Nurse Manager. This is a full-time position scheduled four days per week, with a clinical week of Monday through Friday and occasional on-call responsibilities. Some evening and night work may be required occasionally; weekends are not required. The nurse works in a fast-paced, multicultural, collaborative environment alongside physicians, advanced practice clinicians, medical assistants, patient care guides (doulas), and administrative staff.
