About The Position

Backpack Healthcare provides mental health care for children, teens, and young adults via telehealth, covered by most insurance. We are a clinician-led and minority-owned company experiencing rapid growth across Illinois. We are particularly focused on serving Spanish-speaking families who have historically had limited access to care. This role is ideal for a bilingual therapist who believes in the importance of culturally responsive care.

Requirements

• Active Illinois license: LPC, LCPC, LMSW, or LCSW
• Experience with children, teens, and families
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
• Bilingual English/Spanish
• Grounded in trauma-informed, culturally responsive practice

Responsibilities

• Carry a caseload of 15-36 sessions per week (part-time or full-time)
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy via telehealth
• Conduct intakes and build client-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including therapists, PMHNPs, and psychiatrists
• Maintain timely documentation in the EHR
• Support families with education and care coordination
