About The Position
Backpack Healthcare provides online mental health care for children, teens, and young adults across Illinois, covered by most insurance. We are a clinician-led and minority-owned company experiencing rapid growth, especially among Spanish-speaking families who have historically had limited access to care. We are seeking bilingual therapists who are passionate about providing culturally responsive care.
Requirements
- Active Illinois license: LPC, LCPC, LMSW, or LCSW
- Experience with children, teens, and families
- Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Grounded in trauma-informed, culturally responsive practice
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
- Weekend availability a plus
Responsibilities
- Conduct intakes and build client-centered, trauma-informed treatment plans.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including therapists, PMHNPs, and psychiatrists.
- Maintain timely documentation in our EHR.
- Support families with education and care coordination.
