About The Position

Abcor Home Health is hiring a bilingual Spanish/English Homecare Aide to provide personalized care and support to clients in their homes and during outings. The role includes assistance with daily living activities, light housekeeping, transportation and errands, and documenting services through the company’s home care application. Aides report changes in clients’ conditions to the branch supervisor and complete required training and conferences.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or at least 1 year of caregiving employment experience.
• Willingness to pass a criminal background check.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Two references.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Access to a reliable car or public transportation.
• Completion of 24 hours of pre-service training.
• Bilingual Spanish/English.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and meal preparation.
• Perform light housekeeping as needed.
• Transport and escort clients to medical appointments and social outings as needed.
• Provide personalized services based on each client’s individualized care plan.
• Promptly report changes in clients’ conditions to the branch supervisor to support client safety and well-being.
• Complete visits and document daily services through the company’s proprietary home care application.
• Provide receipts and documentation for essential shopping and errands.
• Complete 12 hours of annual in-service training and quarterly conferences with the branch supervisor.
