About The Position

Abcor Home Health, Inc. is expanding and seeking a motivated Bilingual Hiring Coordinator to join their team in the West Suburban WSR - Lisle office. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional who enjoys connecting with people and building relationships. The Hiring Coordinator will play a key part in recruiting compassionate caregivers to support clients in maintaining their independence and quality of life at home. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and understands the urgency, empathy, and dedication required in the home care industry. Experience in home care is a strong plus.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Bilingual in Spanish (required)
  • Strong phone presence and interpersonal skills—you enjoy speaking with people daily
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and basic data entry

Nice To Haves

  • Prior recruiting experience
  • Previous home care or healthcare experience

Responsibilities

  • Manage caregiver onboarding and ensure file compliance
  • Partner with branch leadership to support recruiting goals and client census growth
  • Conduct background and reference checks
  • Ensure applicants complete all onboarding and training requirements
  • Facilitate new hire orientations and paperwork
  • Maintain employee records in compliance with state regulations
  • Assist with recruiting campaigns, retention efforts, and job fairs
  • Support supervisors with annual documentation and performance evaluations
  • Provide a welcoming experience for office visitors
  • Perform other duties as assigned
