About The Position

Ireland Home Based Services (IHBS) is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Hiring Coordinator to join our HR team. The Hiring Coordinator will play a critical role in managing the recruitment process, onboarding new hires, and ensuring compliance across all regions. This position also includes various administrative tasks to support the HR department, such as background screenings, maintaining employee compliance, and coordinating communication with team members.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in recruitment, HR coordination, or similar roles.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Experience in BambooHR and Indeed a plus
  • Experience in social services or health care related field a plus

Responsibilities

  • Review resumes and ensure candidates are aligned with appropriate job openings and regions.
  • Assess candidate qualifications based on education and experience.
  • Conduct phone screenings to discuss job logistics, expectations, and candidate interest.
  • Manage sourcing through job boards and recruitment platforms, actively seeking qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate background screenings and ensure timely completion before start dates.
  • Manage onboarding processes for new hires, including orientation and documentation.
  • Maintain up-to-date records in compliance with IHBS policies and state regulations.
  • Provide ongoing support to ensure all employees meet compliance standards.
  • Assist in social media content creation to increase job visibility.
  • Plan and attend job fairs to engage with potential candidates.
  • Plan and execute hiring events and recruitment activities
  • Update applicant tracking system and maintain accurate records of candidate status.
  • Generate reports on hiring trends and candidate pipelines.
  • Provide ongoing administrative support to the HR department, including filing, data entry, and communication.
