About The Position

The Bilingual Field Store Associate is primarily responsible for driving and increasing sales at Lowe’s Store #232 in Conroe, Texas. The role focuses on engaging customers in the Paint and Pro departments, generating leads, implementing sales and marketing programs, providing exceptional customer service, and managing merchandising. The associate is expected to support client satisfaction, stay current on product features, and maintain product quality and visual standards. This is a part-time position with a schedule that may include weekdays, afternoons, and weekends. The schedule is based on business needs and may change. The role involves customer contact, potentially including minors, and access to cash and other payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, merchandise, and other valuables. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without now or future sponsorship for an employment work visa.
Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 70 pounds occasionally.
Must be willing, with or without reasonable accommodation, to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service.
Previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products.
Previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language, including Spanish.

Responsibilities

Drive sales growth and deliver training to Lowe’s associates while maintaining high service and merchandising standards.
Provide excellent sales service and support customer satisfaction.
Assist customers in person by identifying their needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
Build productive relationships and trust with wholesale and retail customers.
Maintain Pro customer color files.
Tint and mix products to customer specifications as needed.
Maintain store appearance and inventory best practices, including the color wall and back stock.
Maintain product knowledge to make effective customer recommendations.
Facilitate in-person customer connections between the Paint department and Pro Desk.
Provide in-store Pro Desk paint support for real-time customer needs, Lowe’s Pro Sales, paint program execution, and promotional events.
Promote and represent Sherwin-Williams and Valspar brand standards and product strengths to Lowe’s associates, customers, and contractors.
Work toward monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
Assist Sales Representatives in generating sales leads through customer interactions.
Train Lowe’s associates on product knowledge and application methods.
Complete eLearning modules.
Keep HR Cloud trainings current and compliant.
