About The Position

The Bilingual Field Store Associate drives sales at Lowe’s stores by engaging customers in the Paint and Pro departments, generating leads, implementing sales and marketing programs, providing customer service, and managing merchandising. The role supports customer satisfaction, stays current on product features, and maintains product quality and visual standards. The position is based at Lowe’s Store #1602, 13720 Smoketown Rd, Woodbridge, VA 22192. It is part-time, with weekday, afternoon, and weekend hours; the schedule is based on business needs and may change. The role involves customer contact, including possible contact with minors, and access to cash, payment methods, electronic equipment, personal information, merchandise, and other valuables. A criminal-history review is required to protect the company, its operations and reputation, and the safety of customers, staff, vendors, contractors, and the public.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring employment-visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 70 pounds.
Must be willing, with or without reasonable accommodation, to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.
At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service.
Previous experience selling paint and paint-related products.
Previous experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
Valid, unrestricted driver’s license.
Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language, including Spanish.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent sales service and promote high customer satisfaction.
Assist customers in person by identifying their needs and presenting appropriate products and services.
Build productive relationships and trust with wholesale and retail customers.
Maintain Pro customer color files.
Tint and mix products to customer specifications as needed.
Maintain store appearance and follow inventory best practices, including maintaining the color wall and back stock.
Build and maintain product knowledge to make effective recommendations.
Facilitate in-person customer connections between the Paint and Pro departments.
Provide in-store Pro Desk paint support for customer needs, Lowe’s Pro Sales, and paint program execution, including promotional events.
Promote and represent Sherwin-Williams and Valspar brand standards and product strengths to Lowe’s associates, customers, and contractors.
Follow and achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals.
Assist Sales Representatives in generating leads through customer interactions.
Train Lowe’s associates on product knowledge and application methods.
Complete eLearning modules.
Keep HR Cloud trainings current and compliant.
