About The Position

This role combines account management training, sales, and collections. The employee sells furniture, appliances, and electronics; contacts customers by phone or at their homes to renew rental agreements; delivers and picks up merchandise; performs service calls and delivers loaner items when needed; loads and unloads freight trucks; drives company vehicles; and cleans and refurbishes previously rented merchandise. Other general duties may be assigned by management. The workplace is drug-free. Hours are generally 8:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. Saturday, with one of those days off and Sundays off. Hours may vary according to store needs; the average workweek is 45–50 hours. Compensation is $38,000–$45,000 per year, based on experience and performance, with monthly bonuses and advancement opportunities.

Requirements

Bilingual Spanish and English proficiency.
Class D chauffeur’s driver’s license with a good motor vehicle record (MVR).
Minimum age of 23.
Ability to lift and carry 50–100 pounds regularly.
Excellent customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

Sales, collections, management, or customer service experience is helpful.
One year of sales, collections, or customer service experience preferred.
One year of heavy lifting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Sell furniture, appliances, and electronics.
Contact customers by phone or at their homes to collect payments and renew rental agreements.
Deliver and pick up merchandise from customers’ homes.
Perform service calls, troubleshoot rental merchandise, and deliver loaner items when needed.
Load and unload freight trucks.
Drive company vehicles.
